Why I Keep Going Back to Disney

Why I keep going back to Disney-Because it is different with each group of people that you go with. Being someone’s personal Disney Park guise is a dream come true for me!!

Traveling to Disney with someone new is like seeing it all for the first time!

I wrote about my March trip with my nephew and his girlfriend.  Neither of them had been there in 10 years.  Obviously, Disney has added so much since then-update to Fantasyland, Pandora, Toy Story Land, Galaxy’s Edge to name a few.  This was all new to them.  What else made it new was the last time they were there they didn’t have me and my experience. I would ask what they wanted to do then I would make it happen.  Although,  I think their favorite was riding Rock N Roller Coaster 3X in a row with walk on.  yet, the dinner at Teppan Edo ranked way up there as well.

How about last Fall when I took my sister for her first (and sadly last trip) to Disney.  She had an amazing time!  We used my tried touring tips, going at low capacity time, maximizing the use of the DAS option.  Another important tip about her trip was her using a ECV-what a dream!  It made it possible for her to last longer in the parks and have a better time.  I learned when we had lunch at Cinderella’s Royal Table that Cinderella was her favorite princess.

This is what Disney magic is all about, creating the memories and really seeing Disney for the first time.

Traveling with my nieces and nephews to Disney.

My husband and I started a tradition once we found out we were not going to be able to have children of our own.  The tradition was to take our nieces or nephews to Disney ( we paid for everything for them) when the youngest was 5.  The first time was in 2002 and we were just beginning to learn about Disney and how to tour there.  It was a good time but not a great time.  I remember my brother carrying his son on his shoulder for about 90 minutes while he slept-BIG MISTAKE no stroller.  We learned.  Besides, we had 3 more families to take.

As they grew up and we continued taking this amazing trips my husband decided we needed to do more.  I asked what he meant.  He told me that we would take each niece and nephew on a solo trip with us once they graduated high school.  They could pick from the 48 continuous states. To date we have completed 7 of 9, all have been to Disney.  The 8th is scheduled for next year at Disney.  Each is allowed to pick a “special” thing to do while we are there-no two have picked the same.  We have a trend here.

Every trip has been different and every trip has been new.  The reason is that we were seeing it through their eyes, through their hopes and dreams.  It really changed the picture we saw.  As I have said, Disney magic.

Traveling with someone special makes the trip to Disney special.

Here are some ways to make the trip different:
-Take one of the Disney park tours **
-Go to a special event like the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party or Mickey’s Very Christmas**
-Make a special dining reservation
-Go on attractions you have never tried
-Try new attractions to the parks (use the time standing in line to just talk to you travel party)
-Spend the day exploring the different Disney Resorts
-Explore your own Disney Resort and see what is being offered for the day
-Spend the day at the pool
-Go explore Disney Springs
-Get a spa treatment**
-Take a horseback or carriage ride**
-Play regular golf, miniature golf or foot golf

**When they come back as an option

There are so many amazing things you can do while at Disney!  This is why I keep going back to Disney. Let’s talk!!
