Who do I go to Disney with?

This is a question I am often asked.  Primarily with my husband and we take friends or family so they get the best experience!

We have taken all our nieces and nephews to Disney, all as a child and now as an adult we are working to take them.  We love the memories and relationships we build with them by spending this time with them.  It’s all about the memories for us.

We have gone with friends, some who have never been and some who have never been with an experienced Disney Park “tour guide”.  It changed Disney for them because it changed the experience for them.  It created new and happy memories of Disney.

I have gone without my husband with friends to have a “girls time” at Disney.  I currently have plans for another trip with friends before the year is out.  To me it is always a new experience, even if with some of the same people.  It can be a new ride, new attraction or new dining experience.  Disney is always changing and creating new things to see and do.  I don’t want to miss any of it!!

I have even gone to Disney alone.  It is very different to do Disney alone but it is also very fun! You can stop or not stop to eat as you want.  The best part is you are often asked to fill a row at a ride when they need just one person, it gets you on the ride faster.  You can use the single rider line as well at various rides.  I even went to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party alone, dressed as Cruella of course.  I had a great time and got lots of goodies.

When YOU are traveling to Disney make sure you know your party group.  This means if you have limitations by age or physical ability.  Maybe you ave people or a person who needs a nap every day.  Unhappy people make for an unhappy trip.  Know what each person physical limits are in advance.

Also, know how people like to spend their vacations.  Some people refuse to get up early in the morning, so that would mean no early mornings.  With that you could have night owls.  Perhaps, you have people that eat only one meal a day or others that must eat every 3-4 hours.  You need to know in advance and plan for it.

Another trait I find it some people want to read or see every detail, with them it is slow moving through the parks.  You may have some that want to race through as they want to get on as many rides or attractions that is possible.

KNOW YOUR TRAVEL GROUP!  You need to plan for everyone’s little “quirks” so you can plan to have fun.  We all have them and it is important that everyone knows them. You plan for it all in advance.  This will help you know who to travel with and what you can and will accomplish!!

Enjoy and happy travels!!
