Having the right travel group makes all the difference with your Disney vacation. It is important to discuss what each person wants to do. Remember you can’t do it all.
I try to explain to people about rope drop (being at parks about 30 minutes prior to official opening) and how important it is. Also, to have a sleep in day and relax.
Know how much walking each person can do in a day. Wearing one person out and making them unhappy or worse does not help anyone for the trip. Make sure to plan in some rest in your day. Also, KEEP EVERYONE HYDRATED to avoid someone getting sick.
Dining-make sure to get everyone’s input on choices and preferences. Their are so many choices this shouldn’t be a problem:) Make those reservations as early as possible-especially with larger groups (did you know Disney has special cast members to take care of groups of 20 or more?)
Rides and attractions need to be reviewed and discussed. Not everyone likes the scary or thriller rides. Some people have no desire for the shows or trails. Find out what peoples likes and dislikes are.
Mostly, build in FLEXIBILITY into your plans and itinerary. It will make it more fun and less stressful. Remember ENJOY!!
