Which is your go to at Disney? The Villains or the Princesses? As many of you know mine is the Villains. It is actually much harder to find Villains at Disney then Princesses. With some good research and tips you certainly can find them. Remember that Planning at Disney is planning for fun and magic!
It is also very helpful to pick the right time of the year. This year you have the Villains After Hours Party at Magic Kingdom. It is select nights from 6/6/19 to 8/8/19. I am checking out this new event to Disney in July. I can’t wait to report back! It is 10 PM to 1 AM. Check out this link for more information:https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/magic-kingdom/disney-villains-after-hours/
You should know I will not miss the Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween party this Fall. It is from 8/16/19-11/1/19 on select nights. I can’t wait to see the new fireworks show that Disney is putting on for this event! You can do special dining or watch the fireworks with the Dessert party Fireworks event. Book early to get this! m Here is a link for more information:https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/magic-kingdom/mickeys-not-so-scary-halloween-party/
During the regular part of the year it is harder to find them. Park Fare 1900 at the Grand Floridian for dinner will have Cinderella, Prince Charming, and possibly The Fairy Godmother, Lady Tremaine, Anasastia and Drizella ( I think we can count those last 3 as Villains).
At times you will get pop up character meet and greets for others. You can see Gaston at Magic Kingdom. Make sure to use your My Disney Experience app and check under characters are out and when. This is very helpful!
As for the Princesses SO many options. Character meet and greets at Magic Kingdom and Epcot. You can dine with them at Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom, Akershus at Norway in Epcot or 1900 park Fare for dinner. We now have Snow White at Artist Pointe at Wilderness Lodge as well. I find dining is a great way to see several characters with minimal time and standing in line.
make sure you know where to find your favorite character BEFORE you go and hope that more will pop up. You want to make sure your own little princess or prince get to see their favorite character. That is when your magical moments at Disney can occur. happy hunting and finding:)
