Are you planning a vacation to Universal Studios Orlando?? Here are some tips to look at.
RESORTS
Did you know if you stay at a Deluxe Resort the ticket prices include the unlimited Express Pass. Think of it as a go to the head of the line pass without having to set a specific time. It is valid on most rides in Universal Studios. It can save you so much stress and aggravation. Also, the deluxe resorts are closer, by closer I mean 5-7 minute walk to each of the parks. Universal has Premier, Preferred, Prime value and Value resorts to choose from. You also choose between rooms and suites. Bonus is you get in 1 hour before posted park hours as a Universal Resort guest.
PARK TICKETS
It can get challenging when trying to decide what particular tickets you need. You can get many number of days, you can choose 1,2 or 3 parks, and you can choose park to park or only one park per day. It is imperative to know which ticket is best for you and your travel group. HINT you will need a park to park ticket to ride Hogwarts Express and you will want to ride it in both directions. Currently, Universal Studios Resort has 3 parks- Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay (water park).
DINING/SHOPPING
Opportunities abound in the parks and more so outside the parks at City Walk for dining and shopping choices. I recommend making dining reservations, where possible, using the Universal Studios Orlando App or by using the Open Table app. You don’t want to waste valuable time waiting to eat or not finding the locations you want. Definitely, try Voodoo Donuts at City Walk. If staying on site you can have package sent back to your resort.
