Universal Resort in Florida is open and ready to show you a magical time in the parks with The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Crowds are low and there for means minimizes your standing in line and having to wait to enjoy the Harry Potter Rides and attractions. I have to say from personal experience that they are amazing!! I have to admit that Hagrid’s Magic Creatures ride was a bit intense for me. Many people that absolutely love it as a result of the technology!! Perhaps, it would depend upon your thrill like level.
Make sure to have the 2 parks in 1 day ticket in order to enjoy Hogwarts Express. The really cool thing about this ride is you get different experiences going in each direction. I highly recommend riding this both directions, maybe even twice. You want to make sure you get to take in the experience of both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. Each have different attractions and dining options to really be immersed at Universal Resort in Florida.
Firstly, I would plan to explore one of the parks per day. This could mean Universal Studios on day 1 and Islands of Adventure on day 2, only you can decide which is best for you. Secondly, stay on site to take advantage of the 1 hour early opening for each of the parks. Because of this, you will get a jump start on the crowds. The parks are running shorter hours there for the extra hour in the morning should not be a problem.
Generally, I would recommend to make a sit down lunch reservation to help deal with the heat and humidity of Florida. I think that is more important currently with the limited dining spaces. Both parks have amazing choices for quick service or table service. Some table service reservations can be made on Open Table App . Don’t forget about dining options at the Resorts as well. Dining is part of the whole experience of Universal. City Walk gives many other choices as well.
