I want you thriving summer months at Disney, not just surviving, is part of your Disney planning goal. Are you going to Disney in the summer months and want to be prepared? Check out my helpful information for going on vacation at Disney summer months and utilize these tips can offer you great ways to thrive, not just survive, at Disney in the summer months.
Her are tools I tried this trip July at Disney to help my Disney planning.
1-Water. I cannot over emphasized, so PLEASE, stay hydrated all the time. You probably think you are drinking enough, but if you are not in the restrooms every hour you are not drinking enough. You don’t want to be afraid to get free cups of ice water at all quick/counter service restaurants at Disney as they are readily available..
2-Gatorade packets. I want you to remember that the water I was telling you about, so just add powder or use the bottle you have or just the cup you get and keep those electrolytes balanced.
3-Cooling Towel. I found this to be very nice and enjoyed having Mickey on mine. You want to make sure to dry it out at night and bring a quart size zip lock bag with you to store it when wet if you are not wearing it.
4-Sunscreen. Start your day with it and reapply regularly. I think it is good to carry a travel size into the park with you for lighter weight.
5-Hat. I am not a hat person and REALLY struggled with this so I even tried using the Arctic hat that you wet on the inside and then wear I found a difference. You will find that It cools you down and also reflects the sun.
6-Shaklee Energy Chews. I loved these! I found they really made a different and had a pleasant taste.
7-I HIGHLY recommend taking breaks in cool and sit down locations which can be rides, attractions and restaurants.
What other suggestions? I found the Gatorade packets, Arctic hat on http://www.amazon.com and the Shaklee I ordered through my local Shaklee Rep.
