Last month while at Animal Kingdom , my friend and I had some time to kill before our fastpass for the evening safari ride, so we went to Dawa bar for an adult beverage(I had never done this until then).
Due to the rain and thunderstorms in the mid-afternoon, the safari was not running for a period of time. This backed up the fastpass line.
TIP to let you know, if a ride is closed during your fastpass time, they let you use it anytime that day.
