The importance of planning

The importance of planning a vacation at Disney cannot be underestimated.  Their are many factors that are now affecting this.  This is also why I have spent the month of September talking about the different things to look at for planning.  IT is so important to NOT delay planning a vacation to Disney!!

RESORTS

The Disney Resorts are not yet able to handle their capacity of rooms, suites or villas and the result is harder time booking a Disney resort.  Please, please book early to make sure to get the resort you want.  Be prepared for option of housekeeping services every other day or skip them.  When they do come they will empty trash, change towels and leave soaps if needed, they do not touch the beds.

DINING

Currently the table service dining is probably at about 70% capacity which means tougher time getting a reservation. I believe this is one of the reasons that the dining plan has not come back yet.  More and more dining locations are opening up, which is good news.  Personally, I am still waiting for high tea at the Grand Floridian to come back as well as 1900 Park Fare.

PARK PASSES/CAPACITY

When Disney reopened after COVID shut down they started utilizing the park pass reservation system to control the number of guests in each park.  This also makes it easier for Disney to staff each park.  You MUST have a park pass in order to enter a particular park on a particular day or park hop (with park hopper on your ticket) to another park after 2 PM as long as capacity allows for it. Check out the park pass reservations first.
