The importance of planning for a trip to Disney cannot be underestimated!!

The importance of planning for a trip to Disney cannot be under estimated!  It’s all about planning to have a great time at Disney.

Make sure to look and learn the following BEFORE traveling to Disney:

-Time of year in regards to crowds and weather (Be prepared if there during a busy time)
-Make Resort Reservations early
-How to best navigate the parks as well as navigate around ALL of Disney
-Making your dining reservations at 60 days out (make sure to check out the menus first)
-Learn how to use the My Disney Experience App including Genie, Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes
-Using the My Disney Experience App for quick service orders, wait times for rides, nearest restrooms, etc.
GENIE, GENIE+ AND INDIVIDUAL LIGHTNING LANES- You NEED to know the difference.
-Know that Genie is a free program that is part of Disney’s My Disney Experience App that gives you wait times, suggested itineraries and so much more.
-Genie+ is a paid service ($15/day/person plus tax) that works like the old “fastpass” system and gives you access to MOST rides in the parks
-Individual Lightning Lanes are a PAID service for the top 2 rides in each park where the price varies by day and park.  You will find out the price the day you are in the park.  The price ranges from $7 to $15 usually.
-Learn Genie+ lightning lanes and Individual Lightning Lanes are available at 7 AM the day you are going into the park not before for Disney Resort Guests.  For off site guests it is 7 AM for Genie+ and at park opening for Individual Lightning Lanes.

You want to look at these factors as well for a better Disney vacation.

-When staying on site what resort would be best for me? Look at location, room sizes, amenities, etc.

-How much table service is best for my travel group?

-How many days do we want to be in the parks? Do we want to be able to go into more than one park per day?  Do we need a rest day?

-Are we prepared to get up early in the morning to be in the parks or do we want to sleep in?

-How long do you want to stay at Disney?

-Do you have a budget? if yes, what is it?

With good planning you can have an amazing vacation for you and your family!  The importance of planning a trip to Disney cannot be underestimated!
