Why not check out other hotels?? You can use busses or monorail or both to check them out.
Ask to see one of the rooms. Disney tries to accommodate. We were fortunate enough to get to see one of the rooms at Wilderness Lodge. The cast member showing us also told us about all the extra things to do at the resort as well as dining options. Very cool!!
