Quick Service vs. Table Service

Quick service (conter service) vs. Table Service (sit down service) the great debate. Each has its pros and cons.

Quick service will be faster to get food, then you need to find a table for your group.  Their are many, many choices at each of the parks for quick service. The trick to quick service is to eat at non-peak hours.  This would mean an early lunch 11-1130, or a late lunch 2-3, same idea for dinner, 4-5 or 8-10. I am not saying you can’t eat at peak times, I am just saying it will be much busier.  For the record, I love Casey’s at Magic Kingdom and Flaming Tree BBQ at Animal Kingdom!

Table Service usually requires an advanced dining reservation (ADR).  This is especially important for the most popular restaurants like Cinderella’s Royal Table, Chef Mickey , Ohanas and Be our Guest-to name just a few. This is a great way to meet characters without standing in line-they come to your table!! I alos like that I can sit down, inside with AC , REHYDRATE, and relax while I eat my meal.  I must admit I do favor the Table Service for these reasons.  You can also make table service more affordable with the Disney Dining Plan, Free dining (when available), Tables in Wonderland, and Annual Passholders to name a few.  Again, we have many, many options in the parks as well as at Disney Springs but don’t forget the resort restaurants as well!

Enjoy your meal!!
