Staying off site?? Make sure to allot extra time for travel, especially for Magic Kingdom.
If staying off site from Disney you need to plan for extra time for getting to and into the parks. The reason for this is the location of the parking lots.
When staying on site the busses or monorail bring you closer to park entrances.
This is most significant at Magic Kingdom where once you park you need to get across the Seven Seas Lagoon. This can be done via monorail or ferry (both are fun options). BUT, this is after you go through bag check and metal detectors security. Make sure to plan this into your schedule.
I don’t want you to miss a fastpass, dining reservation or head of the line because you didn’t take this into account.
