Ready to go to Epcot for the Food & Wine Festival?? I am!!! When planning at Disney between August 30th and November 12th make sure to put Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival on your list of things to do.
This is my favorite event of the year! I love the food, food education and even the beverages-ok, yes I tried my first wine last year (the pineapple wine-it was ok) and so much more. You get all these additional foods and beverages you can try from around the world. It is all “sample” size or snack size but it can fill you up quickly. If possible I recommend sharing so that you can try more.
Here is link to Disney’s “what’s new” for the Food and Wine Festival: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/epcot/food-wine-new-experiences/ We are less than a month away from the start date.
A nice thing about this event is you don’t really need a dining reservation at one of the regular restaurants because their is so much to try at the festival. You certainly will not go hungry at this event!!
You don’t need to worry about pulling out your cash or card to pay if you buy one of the pre-paid cards in advance or use your magic band to charge back to your room. Keep you hands ready to hold all you glorious food and beverages. Make sure to keep hydrated as well with all the food, walking and perhaps adult beverages. You will thank me later for that one.
My favorites are the filet and cheese soup at Canada. That being said I always like to try at least some of the new items for each year. I can’t wait to see the new menu come out!!
Don’t forget the eat to the beat concerts and the dining packages you can get so you have preferential seating for the concerts. If their is a band you really want to see then I suggest getting the dining package-it includes most of the restaurants at Disney. Check your availability soon.
What is your favorite part of the Food & Wine Festival??
