My March 2021 Disney visit report

My March 2021 Disney visit report.

I wanted to share my March 2021 Disney visit report with you.  I hope that it helps you with your planning or maybe creates some questions for you to ask me.
The trip where I left on Sunday 3/7/21 and arrived in Orlando at 1210 PM.  I chose to rent a car as I was to be spending time off site with friends.  This also made it easier to pick up my nephew and his girlfriend.  We then headed directly to Epcot for Flower and Garden Festival arriving around 130 PM.

Quick stop to ride Finding Nemo Ride and Spaceship earth.  Went to try some kitchens-Flavor Full Kitchen-tried everything!  **Loved the Cookie Butter worms and dirt!!  **Then to the Honey Beestro-The Corn Spon Bread was incredible!! Also, the lavender honey mustard marinated chicken flatbread.  Still have not tried the cheesecake.  It was a must do to pick up my caramel corn from Germany. Tried a couple others then back to the front of the park.

Time to get to Test Track and then we left the park around 730 PM as we had a long day with travel.

Monday 3/8/21 Hollywood Studios

Sadly, no 7 AM Rise of the Resistance (ROR), left room at 730 AM, in park by 815 AM, park already open.  Used Skyliner to get to park.  Worked out very well.  Per their request it was off to Rock N Roller Coaster (ROR) where it was walk on. They rode it 2 more times walk on (845 AM).  At 850 AM we were in line for Mickey & Minnie Runaway Train (Showed as 20-minute wait-off ride 920).

Next we were off to Toy Story Land for Toy Story Mania (TSM) showed 30-minute wait. It was decided to wait for Slinky Dog showed 70-minute wait.  Then it was of to Galaxy’s Edge to tour Star Wars Land and tried blue and **green milk-blue much better.  Starting to get hungry we headed to 50’s Prime Time, checked in at 1135 AM.

After lunch it was off to Smugglers Run on at 1 PM and then over to the Star Tours Ride.  The sun and heat was getting more intense so we went to the relaxation Station at Bay Launch.  After that we went back to Toy Story Mania and Alien Saucer Swirl. Shopping was next on the list before riding Smugglers Run again. The day was not to be complete without going on Toy Story Mania again.

Tuesday 3/9/21 Magic Kingdom

At 8 AM left resort in car (I was leaving early to see friends).  Unfortunately, their was a big line waits at MK parking toll booth.  Disney is holding traffic in shifts to help with parking and flow of people.  Luckily, we arrived 850 AM in the park. Where we were off to Jungle Cruise, then Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, and Under the Sea before lunch.

Lunch was at 1210 PM at Liberty Tree Tavern. We had a great cast member server named Monica.  This provided and opportunity to try the meatless meatloaf  which was great!!  Then it was back out into the parks for Buzz Lightyear, Carousel of Progress and Space Mountain. I left park around 345 PM at car after 415 PM to meet up with friends while the others stayed and rode Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

Wednesday 3/10/21 Animal Kingdom

Leaving the room at 635-640 AM helped to get us at the park at 710 on 2nd bus from resort and park already open.  We went directly to the Safari, then over to Expedition Everest (riding it 2X) and finally to Dinosaur. Having time to kill we decided to try the Wilderness Explorer scavenger hunt which, by the way, is great fun!  We headed to Gorilla Falls and Maharajah Trek to work on this.

Using my Landry’s card we had lunch at Yak & Yeti.  Then it was off to Flight of Passage.  Planning to leave the park at 315 PM for Disney Springs for Raglan Road dinner at 415 PM.  This also created the opportunity to try Gideon’s Bakehouse-AMAZING!!  It’s so hard to pick which ones to have!!  We tried the chocolate chip cookie, the flavor of the month-Peanut butter and chocolate swirl and the cookies & cream cake (OMG).  Must use virtual queue!!

Thursday 3/11/21 Epcot

Taking the Skyliner  so we left the room at 935 AM and arrived Epcot via Skyliner at 1025 AM, park was already open. Heading straight to Soarin, then to Living with the Land and finally, The Awesome Planet movie. This provided us with the chance to visit The Seas checking out tanks and animals only.  Moving along, we went to Mission Space.

Late lunch at Teppan Edo at 2 PM with Duke as Chef-great!  Had a minor issue of Matt spilling drink , cast member Alexandria, very concerned about me, and made very sure I was ok.  Time to head back to the front of the park for Pixar Shorts, Journey into the imagination with Figment an d of course, Soarin.  it became time to head back to World showcase to try a couple more foods.  We left park around 8 PM (close time 10 PM), long line for Skyliner.

Friday 3/12/21 Magic Kingdom

Waiting for the bus  because it had a VERY LONG BUS WAIT. Arriving around 738 AM and getting on bus at 826 AM but, in park by 850 AM.  We then headed to Splash Mountain, the Big Thunder Mountain, Seven Dwarfs Mine train and finally, Space Mountain.  All completed by 11 AM!!  The choice was to reward ourselves with ice cream.

Next, we were off to Buzz Lightyear, It’s a Small World, and Peter Pan. As luck would have it, we had photos taken in front of Cinderella’s Carriage.  Time for another ice cream break.  Moving to the Winnie the Pooh ride and on to some serious shopping and viewing of the Princess Cavalcade. Ice cream break , again.  Needless to say, it did not hurt our appetites for our dinner reservation at Crystal Palace.

Saturday 3/13/21 Hollywood Studios

We left room 730 AM to get in line for Skyliner, luckily the line at resort shorter than Monday.  Also, line for transfer at Caribbean Much shorter.  We went directly to Tower of Terror (2X)-13-minute wait?  Then, they were off to Rock N Roller Coaster. I loved catching the Frozen show at 1030 AM.  Because it was a favorite we rode Toy Story Mania twice.

Lunch was at the Hollywood Brown Derby at 1255 PM.  believe it or not, we went back to Toy Story Mania and rode it 3 more times because of the short wait times.  Leaving the park at 345 PM and arriving at resort 415 PM.  Prep for our dining at 950 PM at Beaches and Cream was required.  Our goal was to eat the Kitchen Sink in full, sadly, we didn’t quite finish it all, close.
