Meet and Greets at Disney, yes or no? I am a yes, especially if I can get a new character autograph for my vest!
I find that the character meals are a great way to get many autographs without using a lot of time, I mean you have to eat, right??
If it is about the Princesses, then you can go Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom or Akershus at Epcot. Both are good choices and different atmosphere. It is truly magical to dine in the castle at Disney. With careful Disney planning you can do one or both!! You will see and interact with 5 princesses in each location. At Cinderella’s Royal Table Cinderella will greet you (make sure to get her autograph here). At Akershus Belle will greet you in her lovely yellow gown. Their are other options where you may have one princess but no others.
When it is about the main Disney characters like Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto take a look at Chef Mickey or Tusker House. You also have opportunities for some of them at Garden Grill at Epcot and a couple other locations. Make sure to get the best bang for your buck if you are doing a character meal.
My Mom is about the Pooh characters so that would be Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom. Be prepared to meet Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet for your meal. It is a beautiful location and I enjoy the food. It truly is a Crystal Palace.
Heads up that you will not meet Belle at Be Out Guest at Magic Kingdom. you can meet Beast but only for dinner. Make sure you know this to avoid any possible let downs. Also, ask to see the West Wing as well as the Library. The library has 3 hidden Mickey’s if you are up to the challenge.
At Magic Kingdom their are ALL kinds of opportunities to meet characters in the park. Their are pop up locations as well as permanent locations. Some even can be done with Fastpasses. Check out your My Disney Experience App on your phone for exact times and locations. While at Epcot each country will have the characters representing that country-like Belle in France. Hollywood Studios has several permanent locations for you to meet and greet the characters. Animal Kingdom has some wonderful meet and greets like Pocahontas as well as so many others!!
