Yes, this October 1st is #magickingdom50thanniversary and so much is happening!! New attractions, new fireworks , new foods, new merchandise and so much more!! What are you looking to see over those next 18 months??
The #Magickingdom50thanniversary starts on 10/1/21 and goes for 18 months. This gives you ample time to start planning a trip to check it all out. We have been watching as they decorated Cinderella’s Castle and updated the paint scheme in the parks. Now we are seeing new statues coming to all 4 parks totaling 50!! Watching each day as the announce one more. I am very excited to see a Edna Mode but looking forward to more.
When booking a trip and or thinking about this year, PLEASE check the Park Pass Calendar to avoid any disappointments. With the current levels of COVID my feeling is that Disney has stopped adding any additional park passes. With that being said, you need to do what you are comfortable with. Keeping up to date on the masks policy as they are constantly changing is so important. Currently, masks are required on busses, monorail, Skyliner and indoors (rides, attractions, dining and shops).
Cast members have been given new name tags so that they can celebrate and stand out for the 5oth Anniversary. Notice all the new paint schemes and decorations throughout the park. Keeping up on all changes to masks and what new offerings for the 50th Anniversary are key to a great vacation. Besides, who wants to miss out on anything??
Exciting news about the new fireworks at Magic Kingdom as well as the long awaited Harmonious at Epcot. Making sure to allow time to see the new ratatouille ride at Epcot is also key. Having experienced this at Disneyland Paris I am anxious to see it at Epcot. Thinking about checking these out? Then call me for a free 30 minute consultation today!
