-Let me tell you about some of my day at Magic Kingdom Day when being a Disney Resort guest. For this purpose I am going to say the park is opening to public at 9 AM. This means as a resort guest I can get in to park at 830 AM. More accurately you can get into the park earlier up to hub or holding areas for early park opening.
-I am up early , showered and ready to go so I am at the bus stop by 7 AM. I have just picked my first Genie+ ride choice-Haunted Mansion, probably. IF you are staying at a monorail resort I would be there by 745 AM. You are able to enter the park at 8 AM and resort guests are directed towards Tomorrowland entrance. While others are on path that leads to Mad Tea Cups and Cosmic Rays (Seven Dwarfs mine train are). Non-resort guests are held in the hub. They will scan one magic band/ticket/phone for your group to verify that you are a resort guest. Sometimes they have asked how many in group or what resort you are staying at. There you wait for 830 AM opening and rush to Seven Dwarfs mine train. Look at this is a great way to wait less and pay less, in other words, not purchasing Individual Lightning Lane for this ride. Please note, the individual lightning lanes purchases go very quickly for this ride. Please understand that on site guests could purchase starting at 7 AM and off site resorts can’t until park opens at 9 AM.
-Moving very quickly to get in line for Seven Dwarfs Mine train and it starts moving right away. waiting in line is not for long and the line continuously is moving at this time. After this ride I head to It’s a Small World as Peter Pan is usually already got over a 50 minute wait. It is important to know that ONLY Tomorrowland and Fantasyland are open for early entry. I found this out the hard way and had to modify my park plans. At 9 AM they open the entire park and I head to Big Thunder Mountain, then to Splash Mountain. From here it is over to Pirates of the Caribbean. At that time we should be able to go on Haunted Mansion. make sure to pick your next Genie+ ride here.
-Now it is usually lunch time and I have a table reservation someplace to relax for a bit. After all, it was a busy morning. Then it on to my afternoon maximizing the use of Genie+ and watching the wait times. You can have a magical time and a Magic Kingdom Day that is full of fun. Heading back to the resort for a swim is sometimes a choice or maybe staying in the park and leaving after dinner. You need to plan for what is best for your travel party. Do you have more questions?
