Lets go there, where is your there?  The new campaign showing how planning a vacation and/or going on vacation can make you feel better!  So, where do you want to go? #LetsGoThere

Let’s not dwell on where we can’t go but where we CAN go.  As a resident of New York State I am more limited due to the mandated 14 day quarantine for traveling to MANY states in the US.  Sadly, many people cannot afford to go on a weeks vacation then come back and quarantine for 14 days-that’s 3 weeks off!  This creates additional challenges. I am happy to saw that many states are improving and being taken off this list.  Recently, Arizona, Maryland and Delaware were taken off the list.

New England and many of the Mid Atlantic states are good for travel under these guidelines.  This give you beaches, mountains, history and so much more!!  Diversity is the word to describe these areas.  Large cities and small towns or rolling country sides is what you can see and enjoy!  With this comes incredible food choices.  many will think of lobster, clams but how about buffalo or fish?  learn what the local favorites are so that you can try them as well.

What comes to my mind for each of these states:

Maine-Coastal Areas and LLBean

New Hampshire-White Mountains and Hampton Beach

Vermont-Country stores and covered bridges

Massachusetts- History galore and Boston

Connecticut-Insurance capital and shore line foods

Rhode Island-Block Island and Newport Beaches

New York-New York City, wineries and history and, of course, Niagara Falls

Pennsylvania-Amish farms and communities as well as beautiful mountains or Philadelphia with history

Delaware-Dover and more

Maryland-Annapolis, Ocean City and Baltimore

I hope this gives you some ideas on where to travel.  If not, please reach out to me for many more ideas and suggestions.  Remember #LetsGoThere and I would love to know where your “there” is?? Lets go there, today, where is your there??
