It’s a whole new world at Disney, but in a way it isn’t. Let me explain what I mean.
Here are some of the big changes:
-No Fastpasses
-Lower Crowds
-60 days for dining reservations
-Park Pass required with Park Ticket
-Temperature check even before security into parks
-Limited resorts open
-Limited dining open, almost no character meals
-Masks must be worn in parks or Disney Springs
-Hand Sanitizers EVERYWHERE
-Portable sinks throughout the parks
-Plexiglas at all counters and some rides
-Heavy Duty Plastic sheets on rides and in lines
-6 Foot social distancing signs
-Only 1 entrance open at stores and limited exits
Mobile Ordering is a must for quick service
-Character meet and greets are not happening
-Fireworks don’t happen anytime
-Parades are gone and cavalcades are happening in each of the parks instead
-Not all rides, shows and attractions are open
These are the highlights and I could add more but wanted to just hit the highlights. Note that as of yesterday the governor of Florida has taken away the mandated 14 day quarantine for people from NY, CT and NJ but these states have a mandated 14 day quarantine when you get back. Having traveled to Florida last month I can tell you that NYS is following up with people and checking in on you. Sadly, this means a 1 week vacation becomes a 3 week “vacation”. As I said, it’s a whole new world at Disney.
