How about a trip to Paris? I am hoping that 2021 is going to be a magical year for traveling to Paris! Their is so much to see and do in the city or within a short trip of it. What do you want to see while you are there?
In my opinion, their are many must do things to see:
-Eiffel Tower
-Arc de Triumph
-Louvre (You literally could spend many days there if you wanted to)
-Notre Dame
-Boat ride on the Seine
-Tour out to Palace of Versailles
-Disney Land Paris
Paris is packed with museums of amazing artists to see. If you don’t want to spend all your days in the museums then Paris is a great walking city. You get a different perspective when you walk a city. I believe you see things you don’t when on a bus or in a car. That being said, I think taking the double decker buses all around Paris on day 1 is an excellent idea! This gives you a quick look at everything so you can decide where you want to go back to. Also, it gives you a good idea of the locations and distances of each of them. The subway and electric trains are quite easy to use there. If you choose to do this, I recommend buying them in advance so you can from day 1 on.
I suggest looking at Paris City Pass and buying it in advance. You will get a book showing all the sights and what their hours are. Also, you get “fastpass” into each of the exhibits which can save you time standing in line to get through security. This can also include your subway ticket and off course, one day on the double decker bus. This is certainly worth your time, especially if it is your first visit.
