Let’s talk about the Hollywood Studios Rides which tend to be more towards older children, although not all of them. It is important that you recall that Hollywood Studios Rides also have a fastpass tier system that you need to know when making your fastpasses. Think of fastpass as a scheduled time to go on a ride (1 hour window) or 15 minutes for a show.
Over in Echo Lake you have the Indiana Jones Stunt show, the Jedi Training Trials of the Temple (must pre-register day of) and Star Tours (height requirement is 40″). I recommend the Frozen sing along show (LOVE THIS SHOW)!! Just over in Commissary Lane you will find Mickey and Minnie Starring in Red Carpet. A quick stop on Grand Avenue for the Muppets in 3D!
Star War’s: Galaxy’s Edge it seems like no words to describe all of this land. You have the Rise of the Resistance (40″ min. height-need to get boarding pass to enjoy this ride) for sure. Then the Millennium Falcon:Smugglers Run (38″ min. height) which are the only 2 rides here. Do not under estimate how much their is to see and do. These are the biggest Hollywood Studios Rides.
Next is Toy Story Land with The Slinky Dog Dash (min. height 38″) for all. Then the Alien Saucer Swirl (32″ min. height) for those that like spinning. Toy Story Mania is for everyone! You can go then to Animation Courtyard with Voyage of the Little Mermaid Show. Perhaps onto the Walt Disney Presents Gallery and Exhibits. But make sure to go to Star Wars Launch Bay. For the little ones you have the Disney Junior Dance Party!
The last area is Sunset Boulevard with the Rock N Roller Coaster (min. height 48″-hint it goes upside down), The Twilight Tower of Terror, Fantasmic at night, The Beauty and the Beast Show, and Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy. So much to do in so little time, maybe you need an extra day here:) Check out the Hollywood Studios Rides!
