Has Disney planning stopped for you? It isn’t for me. I am planning and waiting for Disney to announce the reopen date.
I was at Disney when they announced they would be closing for an indefinite time. My feelings felt like the song- “Where were you when the world stopped turning”. That’s the easiest way I can explain it. I had been spending a very nice time at Disney, as usual, when I arrived on Sunday 3/8/20. Off to Raglan Road for my Sunday dinner after arriving from New York. Of course it was really great music and amazing food! I couldn’t wait to see the Irish Dancers!!
The crowds were lighter than normal in the parks as we set out on Monday. The crowds seemed to get lighter as the week went on. People were talking about the COVID 19 virus and asked what we thought about it. It didn’t seem to real to me except that the emails and Facebook concerns kept popping up on my phone. It seemed almost not real as each new one popped up. We went through our days in the parks going on favorite rides and trying new experiences. I did not expect to get the notice that Disney was closing. You could have knocked me over with a feather. No one knew then that it was going to become an indefinite, how cold we have?
Has Disney planning stopped for you? I hope not, I really do. It is my hope that you are just going to a plan b or maybe a plan c. Just don’t give up on your Disney planning, don’t give up on Disney. We will all be able to go back “home”, hopefully, sooner as opposed to later but we will be going back. Just keep planning!!
