French Quarter Resort at Disney.
This is such a wonderful and fun resort to stay at!
You can take buses or boats for your transportation. Buses into the parks and boats to Disney Springs, or even just to explore.
You have food court type dining and Scat Cat for a lounge area-they do a paint and sip on Wednesday nights which looks like great fun!
You can use the alligator pool, bar at the pool, hot tub, or recreation area, or even the arcade. I find it nice jsut to stroll around the resort as it is relatively small and has such a great French Quarter feel to it.
If you are feeling like a longer walk you can go to the Riverside Resort and check them out. Maybe a horse drawn carriage ride through the two of them!!
