I know we were just talking about the Disney’s Flower & Garden Festival but I REALLY want to talk about the Disney’s Food & Wine Festival!!
This is my FAVORITE Epcot Festival!! The food and beverage choices are amazing!!
During this event the kitchen kiosks go up and you get over 35 choices of food and beverage locations to try. You can use snack or dining credits if you are on the dining plan. You can buy a card and use that to pay for your sample choices. Of course, you can use cash, credit, debit, or charge back to your room (if staying on site). Disney has made it very easy for you to sample all the goodies.
My favorite food is at Canada and it is the filet mignon and the cheese soup with pretzel!! This is a must for me EVERY time! I also don’t like to share this one, but definitely share the other foods. I actually recommend sharing so that you can try more of the samples. Prices for the samples are from about $5 to $12 and the beverages also have a price range. I have a client who plans a budget around what he wants to try and it works.
You also get the wonderful and amazing Eat to the beat concert series!! The performers have their show several times a night and it is easy to hear from nearby or if you are lucky enough to get seats. You can also make a dining reservation that links you to preferential seating for the show-this is a great idea to guarantee a seat. Make sure your reservation for the restaurant of your choice clearly states it is for the Eat to the Beat concert and what the concert time is.
You can also sign up for educational seminars to learn about pairing foods with wines or how to create wonderful meals. Or you can try a special meal with great chefs. They have some renowned chefs their to teach you as well. It can definitely be worth the experience. Make sure to check out what they are offering and the costs.
The reason I bring this up now is you want to PLAN for this visit! I want to help you plan for it. remember that table dining reservations start at 180 days out so we are close to that date. This is especially important if you want the Eat to the Beat concert series dining package. Also you want to see how many days you may want to be at Epcot, or partial days. As I have said their are so MANY foods to try!
So let’s talk about your fall vacation at Disney so you can maximize your time and sampling at the Food & Wine Festival!!
