It’s never too early to start planning for Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival visit!
You may wonder why I bring up the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival every year, the reason is that it is amazing!!! That is also why I go every year.
Check out that picture! It shows you just some of the amazing colors you will see as you wander around Epcot. The colors abound and the smells are wonderful! You never have seen so many colors as you will see here.
The grounds come alive with colors and beauty. You could seriously spend the day just walking around to take it all in. I always have to stop and “smell the roses” as it were. It never ceases to amaze me how bright colors are and how fresh the flowers look! Believe me when I say that Disney makes sure they are updated and changed to keep this pristine look going.
The other thing I look for are the topiaries! You can find in the map or festival booklet all the topiaries which are in Epcot. It can become a scavenger hunt for you and your family. Each year new ones come out and I am anxious to see them. Of course, I go back to my favorites like Rafiki and Simba. Do you have a favorite one? Look all around you because you never know where they will be or where the popping colors will be! I see new things every time I go and I love it!!
Make sure to take time to enjoy the Garden Destinations throughout the park. The Chinese Zodiac Gardens is one of my favorites!
Make sure to grab your Epcot map and Festival guidebook as you enter the park!
Let’s not forget about the tasty food choices available at the Flower and Garden Festival. You can find the food lists on your My Disney Experience App. This is a great way to pre-plan what you would like to try.
In 2022 Their were 21 kitchens to choose from. Disney has not announced how many 2023 will have so keep watching. I recommend checking out the menus before you go to see what is your must do’s for tasting. Too many good choices so try to narrow it down. Another option is to share so you can try more of the kitchens.
The honey Bee-stro is one of my favorites!! You can even get a souvenir Spike the Bee sipper cup. Spike is also visible in the parks in the scavenger hunt. The tupelo honey and sweet corn spoon bread is one of my favorites!! The lavender honey mustard marinated chicken flatbread is also pretty awesome!!
I feel that Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade is incredibly tasty! I highly recommend this choice from the Pineapple Promenade. This is also an time of the year to get pineapple dole whip, which is always a good choice. Potato pancakes and other treats are available at Bauermarket: Farmer’s Market.
please keep in mind that I am somewhat limited due to my food allergies that include shellfish and beef. Make sure to watch the food lists if you have any food allergies or talk to a cast member when you go to order.
Garden Rocks concerts included with your ticket to Epcot. These are amazing concerts that you can see and listen to for free! You have an opportunity 3 times a night to see and hear them!!
The Garden Rocks concert series takes place at the America Gardens Theatre at 530 PM, 645 PM and 8 PM. You can arrive early and get in line to get a seat or you can book a dining package at various Epcot restaurants that gets you preferred seating for the shows. Make sure to note the price for the dining package and what show it is linked to for the preferred seating. You can also listen to the concert nearby on a bench or other nearby location. This is good way to enjoy the treats you have purchased as you have walked around world showcase.
I love to get a treat from the funnel cake shop, or caramel corn from Germany or even better, a Napoleon or other treat from the France pastry shop. Let’s not forget those magical kitchens around showcase as well.
