Disney mistake #4 and you

Let’s move on to Disney mistake #4 and you which is not being at the park PRIOR to opening.

This is so VERY IMPORTANT!  Wake up early and get you and your family to the parks early for better maximization of your day. I recommend that you be there 30 minutes or more prior to official opening.  Sadly, the exception to this is Hollywood Studios.  Get yourself there at least 60-75 minutes ahead of posted opening.

Make sure to be at the parks at least 15 minutes to posted opening time.  Make sure to allow for enough time for travel from you hotel/resort to the park.  Keep in mind you will be going through security and to be prepared for that.

Note:  Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios has been opening anywhere from 15-45 minutes early due to the high crowds for Avatar Flight of Passage and Toy Story Land.  You may want to consider this in your plans. Make your plans to not make Disney mistake #4 and you.

By being in the parks for Rope Drop you will get so much more accomplished in the first 60-80 minutes then you thought would be possible!  You may also get the opportunity to go on that must do ride you could not get a Fastpass for.

Plan for an early start to the day! Here is some client feedback: “Colleen was a great help in planning my Disney vacation! She was able to provide valuable information, set up fast passes, restaurant reservations and help with small details. I would completely recommend her services. She was able to answer all of our questions, even while we were at the park!”
