Disney fastpasses, I call them go to the head of the line tickets

Fastpasses at Disney!  A MUST do in your Disney planning!

Before heading to Disney, it is important for you and your group to decide on your MUST DO rides. Deciding on must do rides prior to your trip will help you choose the best fastpasses for your group.  What is a fastpass you ask?  I like to call it a “go to the head of the line ticket” – it gets you off the seemingly never-ending stand by line and on to the ride much quicker. Three fastpasses per day are included with your ticket price so make sure to take full advantage of them!

Check out this link to Disney: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/fastpass-plus/

Below you’ll find a park by park list of the rides where your fastpasses can be utilized.

Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom ALL have a tiering system for fastpasses.

Disney’s tiering system separates rides into two tiers and this is where picking your fastpasses becomes REALLY important! For your three initial fastpasses you can pick one ride from Tier 1 and two from Tier 2 (or all three from Tier 3).

Knowing which rides are in which tier makes all the difference in choosing your fastpasses.

Epcot:

Tier 1:
Test Track*
Frozen*
Soarin’
Illuminations
Tier 2:
Mission Space
The Seas with Nemo & Friends
Turtle Talk with Crush
Epcot Character Spot
Living with the Land
Journey into the Imagination with Figment
Disney & Pixar Shorts

*The first ones to go tend to be Test Track and Frozen Ride.

Hollywood Studios:

Tier 1:
Toy Story Mania
Slinky Dog Roller Coaster
Spinning Aliens
Tier 2:
Rock N Roller Coaster

Beauty & the Beast Show
Star Tours
Frozen Sing Along

Fantasmic

*The first ones to go tend to be Slinky Dog, Spinning Aliens and Toy Story Mania. With the opening of Toy Story Land on 6/30/18, it will be difficult to get fastpasses for the three Toy Story rides, especially the two new ones, Slinky Dog Roller Coaster and Spinning Aliens

Animal Kingdom:

Tier 1:
Avatar Flight of Passage*
Na’vi River Ride*
Tier 2:
It’s Tough to be a Bug
Adventures Outpost
Festival of the Lion King
Primeval Whirl
Dinosaur
Kilimanjaro Safari
Kali River Rapids
Expedition Everest
River of Lights
Finding Nemo – The MusicalUP-

*In Animal Kingdom, fastpasses for Avatar Flight of Passage go VERY quickly, along with the Na’vi River Ride.

Remember to take advantage of the three fastpasses that are part of your daily ticket. Be sure to use them for the MUST DO rides. You can sign up for fastpasses on your computer, your phone or the Fastpass* kiosks in the park.

Here’s hoping you get the three fastpasses you want for your magical trip to Disney. This is just one of the many parts of your planning that I can help you with for a great Disney vacation.  It helps you maximize your time in the parks at Disney when used.

Happy Planning!
