Disney has multiple levels of dining plan and it is hard to sometimes determine if it is right for you. I know people that like it for the simple reason that they know the food is paid for while they are at Disney. IF and WHEN Disney offers FREE dining then it is definitely a good thing!!
Currently here is pricing:
Quick Service- 2 Quick Service, 1 snack and 1 refillable mug Adults $44.13/day, children $19.04/day
Regular Dining-1 Quick service, 1 Table Service, 1 snack, 1 refillable mug Adults $63.70/day, children $22.85/day
Deluxe Dining- 3 Meals, 2 snacks, 1 refillable mug Adults $115.08/day, children $35.49/day
Breakfast Quick serve= Entrée and non-alcoholic beverage, if lunch or dinner you also get a dessert.
Breakfast Table Service= Entrée and non-alcoholic beverage OR Buffet (Watch some restaurants count as 2 Table Service credits), with Lunch or dinner you also get a Dessert OR Buffet (Watch for 2 table service credits).
