A Whole new level at Disney-Club Level that is.
This last trip to Disney I had the amazing opportunity to try and enjoy club level at Animal Kingdom Lodge. I also had a savanna view room, WOW!! I hardly know where to begin to tell you all about it!!
When you arrive to check in you are escorted to the club level lounge by a club level cast member where you meet and talk to the concierge. They make sure you have everything you need and have a welcoming gift. You will need your magic band, room key or mobile phone Disney Magic Mobile in order to take the elevator to the Club Level Lounge or if you walk up the stairs you will need it to enter the Club Level Lounge area.
Club level at Animal Kingdom Lodge-Kilimanjaro Club- serves 4 different times and food and beverages.
Miamko Adventurous Awakenings from7-1030 AM This is a full continental breakfast with wonderful choices and certainly a full meal.
Vitafunio Safari Snacks 1130-4 PM. This is just snacks not a real meal.
Kisikusiku Twilight Offerings 5-7 PM certainly can make a meal with all these great choices or appetizers.
Evening Indulgences from 8-10 PM is great snacks and desserts to end your day with.
Beverages of sodas, juices, coffee, espresso , water and more is available all the time for you.
This is certainly a way to feel very special and worth the upgrade and additional costs. You must book your room as a club level room. Club Level is not something you add on to your room. Certain rooms are club level in the resort.
Here is the list of resorts that have club level (Deluxe Resorts)

-Disney’s Grand Floridian (Outer Bldg)-Sugar Loaf Club
-Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge-Kilimanjaro Club

When making your reservation you must state and clarify that you want the Club Level Rooms, they are separate rooms on select floors in each resort. You can try to upgrade at a later date but only if their is availability. These rooms do tend to go quicker than you may expect.
Having club level gets you into the Club Lounge and so much more!
I also want to mention that the savanna view was incredible!! Best times to see animals was early morning, 730-930 AM and 530-730 PM. I even saw a giraffe sitting down! Sat on the balcony and just watched the animals wander around. Too cool!!
Planning for travel at Disney is important. Maybe having a club level room will take some of the planning for meals away.
-Breakfast is continental style in the club lounge with great choices. It starts at 7 AM in the morning. This can be tougher on an Animal Kingdom park day or maybe a Hollywood Studios.
-Lunch is lighter than the breakfast and dinner time choices.
-Dinner is full of great appetizers and choices. You can also have an adult beverage if you would like.
-Club Lounge is open and staffed from 7 AM to 10 PM. The concierge is there to assist with possible dining reservations, your in park questions and so much more. We also received a call each day from the concierge to our room to make sure we were good. They really want to assist you and make sure you have the absolute best time while their. If you need something or have a question, please ask them.
I would highly recommend this addition to your deluxe resort stay to feel very pampered and special. This is a great way to spoil yourself and your family at Disney!
