When visiting Disney the time of the year you go is often dictated by school or work, so you need to change your expectations. What i mean by this is that during a quieter time (their is no quiet time at Disney) you will accomplish more rides and attractions. Going during a busy time like Christmas, Spring Break, Thanksgiving, New Year’ week you will accomplish less. Be prepared for this when you are planning. Also, bring your patience.
Changing your expectations:
-How many rides and attractions you will go on or see
-How the price increases with larger crowds (resort, tickets, Genie+, etc.)
-When you have to get to bus stop, monorail, boat or skyliner to get to a park. PLEASE allot enough time, this is especially important during busier times.
-The wait times will be higher with the higher crowds
-Getting dining reservations will be more difficult with larger crowds
-Getting in virtual queue will be more challenging when crowds increase
-The price for Genie+ will be higher as well as the Individual Lightning Lanes change by the crowd levels
-Crowds will be higher at certain times of the year and not everyone brings their patience or thinks they need to wait.
-Park hours vary by time of year and can change the week before you arrive, know your park hours
-Do your research to avoid having melt downs by you or others in your travel party
