Cast members at Disney are in a class of their own. I have been privileged to spend several days with several cast members this past week and all I can say is WOW! They do truly love Disney and also want to experience the Disney magic like we do.
These people love Disney! They want to put some pixie magic in your life. It brings them joy to make a magical memory for you. When they say to you “welcome home”, they really mean it. It is their home and they want you to feel like you are home as well. I know that I totally feel that way! I want to give a huge shout out to the cast members at Disney for all they do. Make sure to say thank you to them the next time you go on a ride, walk into the park, get a meal or any other magical experience at Disney.
I also want you to know that you can go to the Disney website and leave a compliment or stop by guest relations. I recommend noting name, location and time of your experience. It is important that the right cast member gets the compliment. Sadly, if it is a bad experience, you can do the same. I know that it will definitively be many more of the compliments. A thank you goes a long way as does a compliment.
Think of those cast members with the hot Florida sun wearing a mask for 8 hours with a smile in their face. These are the same people who look to put the pixie dust in your day. I believe they deserve the thank you for all that they do. Put a smile in your face and say thank you, so give them the Disney magic.
