Congratulations if you are!! I hope you have a great time when you go!!
Make sure to allow enough time to do all your research and planning. It is important to pick what is best for you and your travel group. as they say the devil is in the details.
Here’s a quick 9 step:
1-When to go? Picking the time of year will affect many things including but not limited to crowds and cost.
2-Where to stay? On-site at Disney, with family and friends, timeshares, etc.
3-Transportation- Most people fly to Disney. You can also go by car, bus or train.
4-Choose how many days in each park? Magic Kingdom has the most rides and Epcot has the most restaurant choices
5-Plan days in the park, do not schedule. This means set up an order not a timeline to follow in the parks
6-Table service vs Counter service-This is most affected if you are on a dining plan with Disney or if you have food allergies or preferences
7-Ride/Attractions Reservations-Also known as fastpasses. It is important to pick the most important rides and most popular ones
8-What to do on your down day-If you are there for a week, take a day off in the middle to recoup. You will thank me later.
9-Relax and Enjoy! You have done your homework and planning now go out and have your fun!!
Remember:
1-Table service reservations start at 180 days out from date
2-Fastpasses start at 60 days for on-site guests and 30 days for off-site guests
3-Be in the parks for rope drop every day!
Best of luck. If you have any other questions about planning a trip to Disney ,please reach out to me. Thank you.
