Time 4/4/17-4/7/17 (My Annual Pass, B started on special 4 day ticket, converted to M-F Florida Resident annual pass)
Resort- Pop Century Preferred Room
Flight from Albany to Orlando scheduled to arrive 10 AM, due to weather, arrived about 1025AM. Went directly to baggage claim, mine was first piece out. Called B at cell lot and she arrived within 5 minutes. We drove directly to Pop Century and after finding we did not need tag for window of car at resort***, we went directly into park (room not ready yet).
DAY 1- Animal Kingdom Hot, then rain, temperatures high 80’s, low 90’s
Bus arrived at 1210 PM to pick us up for park. We arrived and park and got through security by 1230PM.
Went to 1 PM Lion King Show
Then walked Gorilla Falls Trail
We saw 230PM show for Flights of Wonder
Went to Flame Tree BBQ for lunch under gazebo (we had rain, some thunder and lightning, for about an hour, 330PM-430PM)
Off to Bugs Life for a 10 minute wait
Then walked through Maharajah Trek
FP Kali River 455PM-555PM
Had an adult beverage near Safari, waiting for FP time to open (NEW)
FP Safari evening ride 630PM-730PM (NEW)
FP River of Lights 805PM-830PM, we arrived around 755PM and they were already letting people in(NEW)
Walked back to front and got on bus to resort
Got a lot done in a short time. Good use of Fastpasses is important. With Avatarland opening I KNOW this will be more important. Plan for it, and enjoy!!
