Animal Kingdom Rides

Animal Kingdom Rides do focus on the animals but in many different ways.  You can also enjoy some amazing shows that are incredible to see and experience!  Animal Kingdom is also a tier fastpass park but it’s really easy.  The Tier 1 rides are Avatar Flight of Passage and the Na’vi River Ride.  All the rest of the rides are tier 2.

In Discovery Island we have It’s Tough to be a Bug (show in the Tree of life) and the Winged Encounters.

Pandora is beautiful during the day and beyond words at night.  I highly recommend seeing it both times of day to truly appreciate it.  Here you have the Avatar Flight of Passage (min. height 44″) and the Na’vi River ride.

On to Africa and the Kilimanjaro safari which is great first thing or in the evening. Don’t miss the Festival of the Lion King show!  Make time to explore the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail.  For the younger crowds you may enjoy the Conservation Station  station and all it offers. You can even try the animation experience!

Asia is a whole other world with UP! A great bird adventure show. Stroll through the Maharajah Jungle Trek.  If you are ready to get wet and maybe soaked go for the Kali River Rapids.   Seriously, you may get soaked (min. height 38″).  Ready to face the Yeti then on to Expedition Everest(min. height 44″)  For night time entertainment their is the River of Lights Show.

Over in Dinoland you see older animals-dinosaurs.  Here is the play are of The boneyard.  Check out the Finding Nemo -The Musical Show for everyone to enjoy!  Take a ride on the classic Primeval Whirl (min. height 48″) or Triceratops Spin. If you feel brave then head to Dinosaur (min. height 40″) for a rocking time!  Make sure to explore all the Animal Kingdom Rides!
