This past month I was able to experience a dream come true by visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge! Not only was it a stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge it was a savanna view with club level. This was my first experience at club level. It came very highly recommended and I can see why.
We hopped from my usual Pop Century Resort over to Animal Kingdom Lodge very early in the morning. Upon arrival at check in the called for our escort up to the club level concierge and club lounge. You can only get their escorted or with a room key that is for club level. The concierge was very nice while checking us in and giving us a small welcoming gift-white chocolate with animals on it. Listed was also the meal times and names. Once checked in we decided to check the breakfast out.
At Animal Kingdom Lodge breakfast (Adventurous Awakenings) is served from 7 AM to 1030 AM and it is amazing! It is more than a meal with so many choices. You can even get a to go box for those back in your room who are not moving as quickly. Lunch (Safari Snacks) is served from 1130 AM to 4 PM and it really is just snacks, although I was surprised to see “uncrustables”. Dinner (Twilight Offerings) is served from 5 PM to 7 PM and with all those appetizers and snacks you can certainly make a meal and we did on one occasion. Dessert (Even Indulgences) is served from 8 PM to 10 PM and a great way to end the day! Amazing desserts and treats to enjoy!!
Coffee, Tea, Espresso, water, sparkling water, milk, juice and soda is available all the time with glass, ceramic or to go cups. The “meals” had hot and cold foods. Fruit is available at each serving time. Having the jungle juice for breakfast was a great way to start the day for me. Cast members are there to help you with all your food and beverage wants. Don’t forget that the concierge is their from 7 AM to 10 PM to assist you with all your vacation needs and questions.
The view out the sliding glass door to the savanna was incredible!! Looking out to see the animals right there was beyond words!! Are you looking to spoil yourself , then get club level. Until your next Disney visit planning call me. with all your questions.
