Adults ONLY at Disney!

Adults only at Disney is wonderful!!

What comes to my mind is the cereal commercial for Trix, “Silly Rabbit”, Trix’s are for kids”!  I hear this same thing repeatedly from people about Disney.  “Disney is for kids”.

Disney is not just for kids, it is wonderful for adults!! I go regularly and what I tell people is that adults go as an adult or go to be a kid again-the choice is yours!

Here is a list of some events you can enjoy as an “adult”:

1-*Epcot Food and Wine Festival (Eat and drink your way around the world), I LOVE THIS EVENT!!  This year the event starts on 8/31 and goes until 11/13 which is a lot of time to set up a couple’s getaway, girlfriend weekend or anything else you want to celebrate or enjoy.

2-*Epcot Flower and Garden Festival (Imagine having enough time to really look at all the gardens, topiaries and food booths without being rushed by your children).  You gardeners must check this out as well as some amazing food kiosks set up around world showcase.

3-*Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (Yes, adults can dress up and trick or treat through Magic Kingdom, I highly recommend!  I get to be Cruella for a night and love it!! This event has event only parade and fireworks. You and your group can have fun with costumes by working together and dressing up as different characters in Peter pan or Alice in Wonderland.

Here are adult things you could do:

  • -Spa Treatment
  • -Golf
  • -Go Fishing
  • -Go parasailing
  • -Enjoy the amenities of your deluxe resort

I could keep going on!!

Have you ever seen an “adult” at Disney who transforms like the Tom Hanks character at the end of “Big” and how they go from adult back to a child and the look on their face?? The years melt away and they look and feel just like a kid again.

This is what keeps me going back to Disney, over and over again, with my adult family and friends-that face!  The face that just glows, that is such joy, that is love- that is the magic.  Isn’t it your turn to experience that magic for yourself??
